Minutes from June 7, 2025 VDP Annual Meeting
Homeowners Present: Leslie Reynolds, Susanne Lockford, Joe Casillas, Iris Sena and Fuzz, Gary Reynolds, Guest Nancy Geddes, renter
Board Members Present: Nancy Parker, Jean Salisbury, Joanna Anaya, Adrienne Myers, Lauren Smith
Board Member Absent: Dave Garner
Co-President Parker began meeting with brief reminder of homeowner responsibility for fence repair along individual property lines.
- Meeting called to order at 10:01 a.m.
- Neighbor to neighbor introductions
- Board member introductions and commitment to serve another year
- Website maintained by Dave Garner, Webmaster. Usage of website among members seems minimal. Homeowner directory contains private password for members only. Access to directory is via a link not published as part of website.
- Richard Road Project link was shared with homeowners via email blast recently. Project Manager, Denise Aten, sent updated information from the April 8 community open house (SFCC) to Board for dissemination.
- In an open forum homeowners discussed:
Proposed micro community consisting of 50 pallet homes addressing needs of unhoused families. The proposed gated community will reside between the GCCC and the fire station. Homeowners were encouraged to listen to upcoming Wednesday council meetings for further information.
Any construction of a wall (approved materials only) abutting a sidewalk requires a building permit in addition to the approval of the VDP architectural committee (ie: the board). Refer to the covenants for specific details on standards.
Homeowners commented on their satisfaction with Mel’s Landscaping.
- Financial report shows current balance of $19,217.24.
All dues were paid for 2025.
